Q: Where are your tutors from?
A: We have tutors from United States, Europe and Australia. We are constantly looking for tutors from English speaking countries.
Q: Do I need to develop my own curriculum?
A: No, you do not need to. We have curriculums for students of different English levels.
Q: What are your class times?
A: Our classes take place from 6PM to 10PM Beijing time on weekdays, and from 9AM to 10PM Beijing time on weekends. Our tutors are able to choose their own schedules, allowing for maximum flexibility.
Q: What tool do you use for online tutoring?
A: All our classes are taught through Zoom’s secure, high-quality video conferencing platform.
Q: What is the hiring process if I am interested?
A: If you’re interested, please contact us and provide us with your contact information and a brief introduction of your background. We’ll then follow up with a 30-minute interview over Zoom. We may also invite you to observe a real class and ask you to do a paid demo class for a real student.
Q: What’s my employment status and how will I get paid?
A: All our tutors are independent contractors, and all payments are securely made via PayPal, CashApp, Venmo, or other trusted digital platforms. Your personal information, such as government ID, birthday, bank info, address, etc., will never be requested.
Q: What are the qualifications?
A: You must be a native English speaker and have reliable Internet access. Previous teaching / tutoring experience is preferred but not required.
